Going to start working on this trek fx1 next weekend. Going to do a full refresh. Brakes/shift lines/ all housings / new chain/ new tires and tubes. Any thing else I should do while I have it apart? Been studying park tool videos lol.

I recommend putting some foam pads or something (pool noodles or pipe insulation tubes work in a pinch) on the boards the bike rests on. not only to protect the paint and cables, but also to help keep the bike from sliding off.
I hade to make a similar bike rack (used steel tubes) for an ebike because it exceeded the weight limit on the one for regular bikes. But I also had to include an overhead pully block to lift it up onto the rack.
Also while you have it up there, check the wheels are still true, and the bottom bracket/crank is in good condition.
