  1. Nah 10 years in Germany is the same as the first clip but instead of saying "I'm around the corner" he says "sorry, my train got cancelled".

  2. Yes … that is what Im still teaching my sons, 17 and 25. Punctuality is polite and essential and has several rules … there are differences according to the context … very very punctual (25 minutes earlier) up to 10 minutes late expected (private invitation … but not more than 10 minutes) … Difficult to learn for my sons too

  3. Actually… the saying is "5 Minuten vor der Zeit ist des Soldaten Pünktlichkeit" – roughly translates as "5 minutes earlier is the punctuality of the soldier".

  5. Hahaha….in the philippines its called filipino time and everyone is expected to be late. I hate it im always punctual as i dont like having people wait for me. But if its school thats another thing i am rarely on time😂

  6. then I guess my time zone is closer to Germany’s. When I was living in Europe, every time my Southern European friends invited me to an event, they’d say stuff like, “It starts at 1pm, but you should show up at 2pm because we’re Southern Europeans.” I find that really cute 🤭

  7. lam from Argentina, from Rosario, l don't get it to be late ! …now living in America for 25 years ( 22 in NYC) for me punctually is a must! so l learned other Latinos …and also some Asian Indians… don't get that! or even worse cancel 2 minutes before the appointment! or 10 minutes after jajjajaja that's why l relate with Germans a lot

  8. In my country somewhere in West Africa before show up for meetings after 2 hours. Since I come to Germany am always punctual now for anything. 😅😅😅
