What started off as a bit of a family home video, has turned into a small episodic moto travel documentary, featuring man and boy on a trip across Spain and Portugal over 10 days, with 2 days either side for the ferry.

In this episode we arrive at Portsmouth, and set sail for 2 days, before arriving in Bilbao, heading to Leon.

Inspired by the ‘Long Way’ series, with Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman, along with BikeShed MotoCo.

Embarking on our annual tour, relying only on our motorbikes, we set off at 10:30 UK time on Sunday the 6th of July, sailing from Portsmouth to Bil Bao. Love, love. Our tour starts with a 32-hour ferry across the English Channel around France and the Bay of Bisque. It was a long 2 days on the boat, but we managed to pass the time. Eventually landing in Bil Bao 2 days later at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, ready to run through passport control and a quick customs search, we set off from the port on our way to our first destination, Leyon, over 200 m away. First pit stop. Day one riding, day three trip. Just having a cheeky coffee, maybe a little sun. Yeah. Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Look at that view on camera. Wow. Oh, that’s summit. Is it After a long ride along the A8 through the beautiful park de la Natrollesa de cabbaseno. We crossed over from Cantabria into Aurius to Ma where we took the N621 through the exquisite Picos de Europa. Finishing up on the N625 where we arrived for our first stay in Leyon.
