how can you hit your teeth on the frame? Are you that short?

Joking tho, i low key want bar and frame pads, but i would have more use of a stem pad, too bad those are often ugly as fuck.

  2. Frame pads are great and awesome! I don’t run them, but totally support them. Get yourself a stem buddy from theyea

Heck yeah!!!! They protect your knees better than kneepads and they keep your hand from being burned loading and unloading the bike from friends trucks or vans

Do i like the look of pads? No.
Do i realize the value of them as an over 50yr old?
    Yes.

About to buy a Kink Whip XL and will probably put pads on it cos i value my sternum more than my cool points w the kids.

I use it sometimes. Cool way to rep the brand . Some color combos look good. I cant say they have any practical use 99% of the time.. but that one time you meet the crossbar might be worth it.

  6. I don’t like the look of any pads…old retro bikes are something different. But otherwise I have to get a nice stem pad for myself because I’m old and want to protect my knees! 😂

  7. We ripped em off in the 80s only to put them back on when we discovered that metal plus gravity equals pain. 😂

Bar pads have saved my teeth a time or two, and top tube pad is good for holding your brake cable.

I do like the look of a bike with none though.

Had a buddy knock his front tooth out doing a massive gap, that was 15+ years ago and he still hasn’t got it fixed 🙄

I actually dont mind mind the look at all man!

  10. Not unless you’re doing roof drops in which case I’d still probably just wear a mouth guard
