Gloss is easier to clean, and looks better. Matte seems almost porous, it shows everything, and it doesn’t really wipe clean like gloss.
How do you quick clean your matte integrated bars and frames? What I mean by ‘quick clean’ is just a wipe down after a ride (versus a hose and brush deep clean). Auto detailer + microfiber?
I promise I’m not a disgusting animal, but I do put Skratch in the bottles on hot days, and sometimes I even sweat.

There’s a special ceramic coating you can apply to protect matte finish and a car wash soap that also has ceramic in it. Combined they bead water and sweat and make it really easy to wipe clean. I even think GCN did a show on it for bikes, but I used the auto version. It was for my last bike and don’t recall the brand, just that it wasn’t cheap😏
