Just made this custom frame bag, and I’m super excited for my first bikepacking trip hopefully in a few months. The P-29er so far seems like it won’t really be ideal for bikepacking, specifically due to the low rear tire clearance and lack of mounting points. Ritchey says it fits 29 x 2.3. I had to grind down my 29×2.3 conti cross king on a Stan’s crest which is designed to fit a maximum of 2.3in. Other than that I’m so far happy with it, I like surly’s Moloko bars a lot, and am happy with my shimano deore 12s, MT-500 brakes, fox 32, Stan’s crests and conti cross kings, although so far all I’ve done is some trail riding and commuting over a little over a week so we’ll see how much I like it after using it for hopefully much much longer.
