This was mostly an experiment because I have a 2009 Santa Cruz Nomad that I’ve been wanting to do this to for a while and I had this rockhopper frame laying around so I decided to practice on it just to be safe and now I want to build it up again because I’m really happy with how it came out

Looks great, enjoy!
Wow, yea that looks really good. Nice work. How long would you say it took?
cool!! what’s the next step here? rattle can, hvlp, clear coat?
I have a second gen P3 that has loads of sentimental value to me, I’d like to restore the bike and give it a rad custom look.. even though I don’t ride it, I wanna make it look awesome.
I did this to my V10 years ago. And I polished it to a chrome like mirror finish.
It takes a fair bit of time but looks amazing.
Nice! I stripped the paint off my frame and got it hard anodised and it looks really good
Nice job. Next time, get Aircraft Paint Remover – more gel than the sprayable you have.
Wear a mask – put a heavy coat on the frame. Then put it in an industrial garbage bag for a few hours. The chemical reaction is what promotes the paint removal.
This will make it a breeze.
Looks nice, also really makes the dent pop 😅
