Day 23 of bike packing the perimeter of Britain fundraising for Movember. And here’s a bit of an update from yesterday where the legends at Saddleback gave the bike a full service and a load of love. Thank you guys. This morning I met up with Bracy and popped into the Tail Fin headquarters just to double check all the bag and to film some stuff with them. And then this happened. Look at this legend. Someone is a world record holder. Coastal buddies. Coast buddies. Yay. Bike prince. So firstly, thank you to the guys at Tail Fin for just checking over everything, making sure they were happy with everything. And secondly, that was Molly Weaver, who holds the record for cycling the perimeter of Britain. She’s a legend, and it was amazing to get to ride with Molly. We haven’t seen each other for a quite a while, so it was just lovely to catch up. So anyway, the route basically involved cows, me placing stickers of yenus around since tailin gave me a load and quite a lot of gravel actually leaving Bristol. It was sort of grally trails like this but flat generally just a headwind all day but generally very very nice. The bad thing that happened today is there seems to continually be a bad thing that happens. Uh it’s not this massive caravan park. I just thought it was a bit nuts how many caravans there were. But I got stung by a wasp again for the third time during this ride. But the difference is that this time when I got stung, it made me incredibly sleepy. Like dangerously sleepy, I would say. And not far from where that video was taken, I did actually have a little lie down for a little bit and just felt exhausted. So I slightly shortened the route that I was doing today. Finishing in a place called Linton. And there’s this toll road which goes up there which is absolutely amazing. It’s£1 and going up it is like a 7 km climb with views that go a bit like this and just stunning like I think it’s an amazing option to cycle. There’s a yustin again. Uh and it’s got some proper switchbacks that make it feel almost alpine like like somewhere in Italy or France as you can see. Really really amazing climb. You then get to the top of it and you join back onto the A- road which was pretty quiet actually and similar views for miles there. And then I decided to stick another Yina sticker. So he’s now quite a lot around the Southwest. And this is Chloe, a blind dog. She was very lovely. [Music]
