I did a 116km (72 hamburgers) gravel tour yesterday. This was my longest ride since I started cycling again on my new gravel bike 2 months ago. I cycled along the embankment of the Rhine in the south of Germany and back across fields and meadows. It was marvellous. The last 20km were quite challenging and I was amazed at how much food you eat and actually need on such long tour. I had 4l of iso drink, 2 bananas and 6 muesli bars with me, but would take a bit more food next time.
Wanted to celebrate with you 🙂

Is it normal to drink that much dust? My bottles were always covered in dust 😀

Diabolical. I still prefer “Hamberders” for our orange voting folks.

Congrats ! Next step is 100 miles or 1000 ft elevation…

And water bottles with dust caps exist !
