I have been watching other people on YouTube and Reddit for the past two years. I was pretty nervous, but just finished a 2 day ride through Michigan and then a two day campout on the beach. I did 150 miles in total over two days. I rode from Grand Rapids to the Nordhouse Dunes.
I loved the support from other riders as I passed through stations and towns along the ride. I rode the white Pines Trail and the Pierre Marquette trail before hitting lots of gravel roads and then some paved roads.
As a first timer I definitely overpacked, but my bike handled it like a champ. Can’t wait for the next adventure.
