Hi guys
I’ve been riding on an Orbea Road Bike for a year now, just occasionally on weekends etc.
I want to get into cycling but I’m struggling to choose between different models
I’ve been enjoying riding a road bike, but I feel like riding gravel tracks etc could bring a bit more fun.
I still want to have a bike that will perform enough when doing road only rides.
I know Endurace bikes are quite good when it comes to small off-road parts (but is the new allroad enough ? Or should I go for a carbon endurace 6, which is better than the all road, but has a smaller tire clearance, so would it be a problem ?).
However having a bike accepting 45/50 mm tire clearance seems great, what you guys think about the grizl 7 ? Is it worth it ?
Thanks again for helping me 🙏🙏🙏

So the upside of the all road and the grizl is that if you swap in a fast road tire you’re 95% of the way to being just as fast on the road. The 35mm clearance on the endurace is enough to tackle “champagne gravel” hard packed, fast stuff. For looser or muddier stuff Id take the grizl or the allroad. The grizl has the best parts (for the most money) and will probably last you longer as you develop as a cyclist. From what I gather you’re mostly paying for the groupset and the wheels om the grizl since they’re both alu frames. Couldn’t find the groupset of the cf6 but I think its tiagra, so one step below what the grizl has, but better than what the allroad carries. The frame and fork combo on the cf6 are significantly lighter, lending itself more to future upgrades. Though at this level of bike a future upgrade is probably a new bike. All 3 bikes have similar relaxed geometry so no real difference there. So you gotta ask yourself if the investment is worth it to you, and how much off-road you’re realistically looking to do.
