I've been using an old Giant Option (picture below) for the last few years but due to poor maintenance (I left it out in the rain) the chain, brake cords, and freewheel have rusted with expected parts/repair costs adding up to ~$180. I've been looking at some options on Craigslist in case I could find something for around the same price instead of repairing.
My use case is mostly road/city rides with occasional light offroad riding. I want something durable and of decent quality, and that I can find for under $250.
