I am interested in buying my first road bike. At first I was looking at ensurance cf 7 but I hate the colour options here in europe (moon black / lillet grey) plus I tried another scott addict RC 30 in M (Stack 567, reach 390) and well it was too big but the riding style was not that bad.
Now to ultimate. I like the look and LOVE the white colour! I am 173 cm and roughly 75cm inseam. Canyon suggests me size XS (length wise I’m at S but XS due to my shorter legs).
My question is, if I go with size S, would I wns up in a more relaxed position or have I miss understood this whole geometry thingy? Have you been into similar situation and what did/would you do?

You’re the same height as me but with 3cm less inseam. I’m on a small and it fits perfectly, so I think you’d probably be fine on a small with the seat a bit lower.
I’m 168cm/79cm and on XS.
170cm/81cm, I have a XS Ultimate
Size is ok for me, S would have been too big in term of reach (too long between saddle and cockpit)
