It was my 30th bday a while back and my parents wanted to give me something nice. My dad was always reluctant to try gravelbiking. So that’s what I asked for my birthday: give it a try and ride my favorite ride with me.
We readjusted my old bike and it fits him perfectly. He loved how calm and peaceful it is compared to roadcycling.
Bad news: I might have upset my mom, I think dad needs his own gravelbike now

How come he opposed gravel riding? Maybe because he never tried a dedicated gravel bike before? I wonder if in the past, he tried to ride on some light gravel with the road bike and could see it felt sketchy. At least that was the case for me!
