    Stiff link, it happens.

    Flex the chain side to side to open the link up. Do it gradually and you’ll get a feel for how much forces is needed.

    If you have a chain tool like this, you can put the stiff link in the second part of it and slightly force the pin out from one side. Check which side of the link has more of the pin “outside” and screw from that side.

    You can as well try to bend the chain left and right till the problematic link loosens up.

    Overall.. it kinda looks like whoever fastened the chain did it a bit incorrectly. Happens

  3. I’ve had this before, popped the whole link out using a chain tool and replaced with a quick link. 

    Good as new

  4. Before trying anything with a chain breaker tool I would just try turning the link with some lube. Rotate it all the way back and forth, the lube should work it’s way in and loosen it up.

    It happens, gently bend the chain sideways a few times and check it again. It will almost certainly loosen back up
