I came across this bike on fb marketplace and was looking to buy it, but later worried that it was stolen?
The seller’s description looked suspicious: “I had this bike for a few years and I never ride it anymore. Has been sitting in the garage for months. So why not sell it. I know it has the hydraulic brakes, gear selection, and stiffness of the pedaling. Great road bike. Barely any use. Any good offers should do”
The seller also listed the bike as a “shimano sirrius bike specialized,” for 350$, even though it’s a 2019 CrossTrail.
I’ve just asked for the serial number, but wanted to ask here in case it doesn’t show up on any of the databases. Thanks!
