good morning from Southern Malaysia it is day riding my bicycle from the UK to Singapore and I am 75 km away from the border woo oh one more day keep the pedals pushing all right I’m crossing at The Woodlands Crossing which is the only one I think you’re allowed to Cross by bicycle I think it’s a motorcycle Lane actually hopefully it goes okay and then I’ve got a hotel but for tonight and my flight’s tomorrow night so time is of the essence last day baby last day [Applause] all right got absolutely drenched into some Monsoon R classic doesn’t really matter cuz all these clothes are going straight in the bin when to get to Singapore which is only about 35 km away woo at least the rain cool it the I was get that heat stroke before so hot went a building up to piss down super humid so took some Refuge into McDonald’s for half an hour while the rain was going on now I am back on the road some gu on a motorbike saying that he wanted to escort me to Singapore it’s too dangerous what are you talking about man like they’re from England C myself I don’t know what is deal was then he wouldn’t go away and it felt like some type of money grab situation give me you ring it for scoring you but just turned down the side road and then came back on the main road but yeah almost there looks like it’s going to rain again but what torrential absolutely drench shame it can’t be a nice sunny day that’s the bik game is it all right it’s going to be thunderstorms for the next 5 hours apparently this what the internet says so my have to suck it up on the way to finish 27ks absolutely brutal couple of hours there in the rain died off a little bit now you ran through phone soaked as well but I’m about 5Ks from the bridge over to Singapore so another 15 minutes fcking there I’m Shame by the weather whatever gone dumping the spirits today right I will report back when I am at the border woo right I’m crossing the straights of Mala now just crossed the Malaysian border pretty busy I’ve done it I have done it more than 15,000 km on 100,000 M of climbing 18 countries in 7 months crazy don’t believe I’m here so stoked you know rent just goes to show I’m not really that cheesy but no dreams big enough you know you can literally do anything if you put your mind to it and if I can do it so can you welcome to Singapore okay I’m in Singapore I’m done it wo brutal day feels pretty good oh normally like you know like little to the marina in that get rain again absolutely trenched through so might just head to the hotel which is a shame but it’s a pretty sketchy Highway about 6ks away from the hotel it was an extra 30k across the uh went across the border I didn’t actually look at it cuz I didn’t want to know but uh roads and cycle pass in Singapore perfect but I expected that pretty organized place uh no sign or anything I need take a picture of me with a bike like a welcome to Singapore sign but I haven’t seen one I can’t be cycling all the way here and then not getting a picture with the bike so maybe I’ll have to do it tomorrow I open the pany bags to get my light out as well and everything soaked inside the back bag which isn’t great so I hope that all dries before tomorrow but we have to see get to the hotel have a shower that’s what I need and get into some dry dry clothes as a must and then uh yeah go check out what’s going on I’ve been here before so I am a little bit familiar but it was about 8 years ago on another trip with an old girlfriend so we’ll see but yeah sto okay it is the next day the final day of the videos uh staying in my super expensive super shitty Singapore Hotel so expensive here it’s a Killer really everything food hotels but um yeah looks like it’s going to be another rainy day so I kind of need to get my bike in a box before it rains I’ve got a flight to catch at midnight so probably go to the airport a little bit early still need to get like a photo of me and the bike in Singapore cuz it was raining yesterday so I might try and do that and then uh find a box to uh put the bike in sort it all out but yeah just want to quickly say thank you for everyone that uh followed along on the journey and uh I hope it’s some use or entertainment for you or anyone else who’s trying to do some bike touring or adventuring but yeah thanks for following Thanks for liking it’s been a big it’s been a big support and motivation for me so I’m making the videos as well it’s been a learning care for sure but yeah right one more day keep on moving so tired keep on moving get it all done and when I finally sit down on the plane then I feel like then it’ll be over I can actually finally relax second bike shop and I’ve got the box $2 uh flights not for 12 hours so I might try and leave the box here so that I can uh I can go in into the marina and take some photos and have a little look around and have a coffee and then the train station’s right here that goes to the airport so hopefully I can just dismantle it here and then take it on the trade we will see oh it’s beautiful all right got the photo and uh yeah go box the uh box the bike up get the train to the airport fish BOS bash I’m done on a journey all right all boxed up train station is just over there uh I’m absolutely drenched and sweat now which isn’t really great but yeah carry the Box around hopefully it weighs under less than 30 kilos don’t think it does though see how much say you charge me for it okay it is hot I’m absolutely drenched um tried to get on the train and they said no cuz my box is too big that’s pretty inconvenient but I have found a bike transportation service who’s going to take me to the airport but it’s going to cost me $65 classic um yeah it is what it is no other options so just waiting for the driver to come and then go to the airport and then I’ve got 10 hour wait till the flight and then the 15 hour flight never ends the journey never stops okay Bish bash bash a nice guy really nice guy had a good shot with him I I’m at Terminal 3 and I’ve got 9 hours well resting but I’m pretty stoked just to be here to be honest and have nothing to do so just check it out oh okay that’s it let me check in 10 hours early which is nice and this is where me and the bicycle part ways it’s nice to I diminished responsibility of constantly having it with me I feel a little bit more free but yeah time to do some resting M to say happy New Year boys

  4. Congratulations on completing your journey.
Do you plan on an overview? Lessons learned, what you would do differently, gear choices, route choices, etc. etc?

  5. I've been following since you were in China and have looked forward to the videos every day. I'll have to go back and watch from the start.
Such a mammoth journey but no doubt amazing. Keen to see a follow up video too. (Who were all the people in the SIngapore photo?). You should maybe do an AMA or if we have questions about your trip, could we write them here and you answer in the follow up video- if you're not sick of Youtube by now!!. Thanks for a great adventure!!

  6. First of all, massive congratulations mate for such an amazing achievement πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

I really liked your daily videos and they also serve as a diary and you remember things.

I have cycled across Canada last year (May to August) and I wish I did what you did, but next time I guess πŸ€žπŸ™Œ

Hey, do you think you will have time to do another video about your bike touring trip and give some info on when you started (I know it took you 7 months), but wanted to know more. Also, if you could give some info on how you got the visas for the countries you were required.

I am planning on cycling from London, UK to Bluff, NZ and I will take the same route as yours. A bit of info will help πŸ™
