  1. My general strategy is once colours have been washed a few times, it’s fine for them to go in with whites.

I’ve never had problems with mixing colors. Laundry bag them individually and wash cold.

There are “color catchers”, tissues you can put in the machine and they reduce color transmission

  4. I wash my sports laundry in the outdoor programme at 30°C and 800 rotation. Nothing has discoloured with this setting. White socks and base layers always remained white, despite several pairs of black bibs and jerseys in the same wash.

I put everything in the same. New, old, white, colour, black, sports, dress shirts… It all goes in the same. In my opinion, modern dyes don’t leech with modern washing liquids. Or at least I have never had it. I just put the “delicates” setting at 40°C, which doesn’t spin too fast. And then dry on a rack, I don’t have a dryer. The higher spin in my opinion tends to wear the clothes a bit more, you can especially see it in polyester.

I did my first wash by separating colors. But then always everything at once. I put the bibs, socks and base layer in a net to avoid them getting damaged from the zipper. It’s also Ryzon kits. Light green/beige jersey with black bib and white BL and socks
