Looks identical to my summers. Its not as bad when you are moving since you have the air to help. Hills suck the same.

Similar heat here, but I have like 14% humidity and that makes all the difference in the world.

my city was like this a few weeks ago with humidity from 70-90%. I used other methods of transport for a minute. Even workout rides were borderline undoable.

Remember, if you’re not feeling it, you can still drive (assuming that’s an option in the first place). You don’t have to bike every day to work.

Don’t push it and remember to hydrate. You’ll be fine. 117 here today. Should be down to the low teens by the time I head home.

Depends on how long your commute is, which you don’t specify. Mornings don’t look like a problem.
I really don’t mind getting hot and sweaty riding home. It’s sort of the fun. I can cool off and relax once I’m home.
Only problem I find is I leave an air conditioned building to bike home and that thermal change is shocking. Best to gradually acclimate if possible before riding home.

This is my life in New Orleans from May through September with a bonus of 95% humidity!

Laughs in 100° with 90% humidity. As a california native i have not been enjoying the Maryland summers since I moved here

Triple digit temperatures on the homeward commute is not unusual for me in the summer. Fortunately my city has lots of shade trees and is mostly flat so it isn’t too bad. I was surprised how much a light colored wicking fabric was more comfortable than bare arms in the heat. Whatever else you do, be sure to stay hydrated.

Unfortunately the reason why summers are my off season. I’ve commuted during summers before and always had a bad time so I stopped. Looking forward to getting back to it in winter.

i’m just happy when the humidity is under 40%. i don’t wanna ride anywhere if it’s over 50% even with temps in the 80s.

Commuted just short of 10 miles home today at 96F. Its the sun that got me more than the stagnant heat 🥵 but id still choose my multiuse trails over traffic jams any day 🙂
