Hey hop fans and bike geeks, ever wanted to cycle under giant mile high hop vines? Welcome to Tetnang, Germany, the hop capital where even the plants are brewing something special. This loop called the Tetnang hop circuit is a 42 km ride through hop gardens and orchards with about 160m of elevation gain. It’s easy to follow those green white signs labeled hopinchoff or you know get hopelessly lost chasing aroma instead of asphalt with hops growing up to 30 cm a day and reaching 8 m high. They’re basically plant skyscrapers greets you at every turn. Trust me, once you pedal through fields of green gold, you’re thirsty both for hops and more adventures like this.
