This is a 1990 Giant Allegre "triple butted cromoly" road frame, pretty sporty geometry, rides great actually, the fork is bent so I'll be tearing this build down for now
For the finish I wire-wheeled the whole thing down to bare metal, then applied "Liquid Blue" (a blueing product for gun barrels), it took on a brown antiqued look so I guess that is what it is; I imagined polished components but I had this murdered out stuff on hand (stock stuff from a 6KU Urban Track)

That finish is so sick. Are ypu goi g to grind off the cable stops?
You can buy brass covers for the downtube bosses as well.
