New to biking, and wanting to get a beginner road bike to try it out and train for a half Ironman. Found this one FB marketplace for $240. Is this a good deal? Considering pulling the trigger on it but wanted feedback. From what it looks/the description it seems to be in excellent condition

I just picked up a similar bike, if the wheels are anything like mine you’ll want to replace them as they are atrocious. Otherwise bike looks good, I’d offer $200
I just got a 2016 CAAD8 with 105 groupset for $200 which was an unusually good deal, but $200 for an older bike with what looks like Claris is fair IMO
