I’ve had a lot of bikes over the years, but the Otso Fenrir might be my all-time favorite. Incredibly versatile. The two photos show it on a recent 12 day bike packing trip in Mongolia, and the other is in its current state as a go anywhere, do anything, ride from home aimlessly and see what happens type of bike. Fork/wheel swap and she’s ready to go! So many ways to build up this frame.

Very cool! Can I ask – how was your experience adding a suspension fork? How much travel does it have and have you enjoyed it since then?

100mm travel, and I’m happy to pay the weight penalty for the benefits it provides! A lot of of our back roads end up with washboards, and the fork obviously helps with that, I can also connect light single track sections with dirt roads with relative comfort. There’s a host of riding around me and it’s really nice to be able to just leave home on a dirt road and go on an adventure, knowing the bike will most likely not be a limiting factor to where I go and how fast I get there.
