Mountain Biking in the Dolomites – An Unforgettable Journey to the Top

In this cinematic journey, we follow professional mountain bikers Andreas Tonelli and Franz Hofer as they conquer the rugged trails of the Italian Dolomites. From a midnight arrival at a remote bivouac beneath Monte Cavallo to an unforgettable sunrise summit.

After hours of hiking in darkness, we reached the top just in time. The moment the first light broke through the peaks was pure magic. Surrounded by a breathtaking mountain panorama, we shared silence, laughter, and awe. Watching Andreas and Franz ride along the ridgeline with the rising sun at their backs was one of the most powerful experiences I have ever witnessed.

Captured with DJI drones, FPV sequences, and the Sony FX3, this video is more than a biking story. It is a tribute.

Sadly, Andreas Tonelli passed away shortly after this adventure. He was a rare soul whose energy, determination, and smile could light up any mountain. His spirit will live on in every sunrise, every summit, and every ride.
