In Germany I am seeing them everywhere. Mostly moms but some dads and people saying them for work. I think they’re the coolest most useful purchase for someone who needs that cargo space.

Ever notice how many car ads you are fed in biking sub-reddits? I had a Mini ad below this post. It is almost like the car manufacturers feel threatened
Even here in the suburbs of Detroit they’re gaining traction with people. When 99% of your commuting is within 5-10miles a cargo e-bike really comes in handy.
Because they’re a superior way to get around cities, electric cargo bikes are absolutely car replacements for short journeys! Im glad to see them more and more places

I’ve had one for 4 years and its been life changing. Really had changed my entire perspective on transportation and infrastructure.
In France I see front loading cargo bikes becoming less and less popular amongst families in favour of longtails (rear loading cargo bikes). I’d say there are more than 9 longtails sold for family usage for 1 front loading cargo bike. This style of cargo bike is now mainly for professionals.
