The 105 Victoria Street Project Team hit the road once again—this time heading north to Cambridge after previous rides west and south—to bring colleagues, charity partners and supporters together for a day of connection, activity and fundraising. Thanks to everyone’s energy and generosity, they raised £33,500 to support the Westminster community over the coming year. These vital funds will help local organizations, improve community spaces and provide practical assistance where it’s needed most.

Give us a lift. Give us a lift. It’s another wonderful day. We’re doing 105 kilometers for 105 Victoria Streets. And there’s 120 to 25 um riders all from consultants. They got occupiers. We’ve got investors. It’s here to have fun, but the ultimate goal is to raise money for the local community. And we’ve even got some charity partners here, which is incredibly exciting because they’re working with us to deliver the answers for Westminster. Here this morning to see you off to Cambridge. It’s an awful long way and I am full of admiration for the fantastic support that you’re giving to local organizations here in Westminster. A few. There’s a few out there. Yeah, it’s good to see. Three, two, one, off you go, guys. Have a great day. See you in Cambridge. Such a good day. Such a good feeling to be here. Here we go. So nice. It took us 50 minutes or something just to get out of London to a very short amount of distance and and that’s London. and you know it stops start and it’s a bit fatic but then when you break through and you come out into the countryside you know it’s beautiful bumpy through here not too bad not too bad it’s a bit lonely at the moment but I think uh put a bit of effort in after the halfway we’ll be going for it going for the win today we’re going for the win few little hills and uh a lot of fun talking people. Great to get out of London. It’s really good route. You keep in groups of of four or five people and uh have a chat about you know who does what and uh put faces to names which is really nice actually. People that I’ve emailed and you know been in in teams meeting with to actually see them on a bike don’t necessarily recognize them straight away and then you go oh yeah find out which way to go. Yeah, there’s still the challenge of only doing this once a year. Just hoping there’s no more headwind and then we’ll be all right. Right, let’s go team. See you later. It’s a little bit hillier than I expected, but yeah, it’s really nice. It’s so beautiful out there. There’s some cute little villages and yeah, it’s been a really fun day out. Legs are fine. Perfect. Couldn’t be better. Hanging in there just about in bits to be honest. I bite through a little bit bumpy but this is awesome. Cramping. Really enjoying it. Almost there. Unfortunately I punctured a couple of times so there are a couple of guys out front ahead of me. John, thanks for that following mate. Much appreciate your splitting it. It was awesome. Really is. Uh bit windy though. A lot of headwind. Love those hills. Really enjoyed the hills. Struggling the pace. It’s tough. Pro athletes here in the 5k and we are one of the tenants of the new building. And I think it’s a lovely way to sort of mix and mingle with the people who’ve actually created the building we’re going to be based in in a couple of years time. They’re fantastic. Uh firstly, thank you very much. And I’ve listened to a lot of stories about the headwind and the asses and the you know it been some great cycling. So thank you very much. That’s absolutely fantastic. So well done.
