After these pictures, I adjusted them to be lower which gave me a wider view, pivoting them inwards allows me to see everything behind me clearly. Way better than having to twist around and losing sight of what's ahead. I had to merge into traffic due to construction which was made easy with these.
I got these on Amazon for about $20 for the pair. Why I chose these specifically is the wider view and it being made out of aluminum rather than plastic. Everything as far as I can tell is aluminum, but the rear housing seems to be a glossy plastic. They do vibrate on bumps but it doesn't shake enough to have my view hindered. I wish they came with rubber padding in the clamp, and longer threaded shafts so the bottom nut isn't only able to engage with 2 threads. But sturdy enough, i guess. I lucked out as the minimum clamp is 22mm, my bars are 22mm. They stayed put.
Good initial impressions. Time will tell if these last.
Who else uses mirrors? Am I dorky (yes i know you can see me)?
