Bought this at a yard sale for $20 (originally going for $75 but it was the last day and I pulled a “Well I only have $20, but if you really want it gone…”). I know it was assembled in 1980, but other than that, it’s mysterious. I haven’t seen any other photos on the internet of bikes with that unique “swoop” on the frame below the seat. Does anybody have further information? I assume all parts are stock except the Trek wrapping on the handlebars.
