  1. Assuming the bike fit is good I would start but changing the stem and bars for more upright position. Depending on what you like you could go swept back or something with bar ends like you have now for more positions.

    Rear and front rack probably recommended as well. Depending on what type of trip you are taking bags/panniers from there. But frame bag, handlebar/basket bag and dry bag on rear rack probably a good start for a beginner trip.

    I would get rid of the pedal straps too

    Edit: literally have seen videos of people going on trips with bikes from a bin and home made bags so if you are comfortable on this bike as is and have some shit you can securely strap to a bike you could just send it

  2. Just get some bags and go for it. So I would get a rear rack with two panniers and a handlebar bag. Probably an extra bottle cage. Sick bike.
