Frame&Forks from a 2021 Fly Proton Complete which I stripped.
Had to buy new bars (Bicycle Union Motorcades), stem (some cheap Kink budget option) grips (Kink again)
Wheels are unbranded sealed bearing hubs double wall rimss. Cassette rear. Super basic and I have no idea who made them. I bought them for £5 a few years back and they’ve been solid gold reliable ever since.
They’re my back up wheels, and also what I always put on my builds when I’m building. Best £5 I ever spent, but they will go back in my parts bunker when I buy some new wheels for this.
Tires are really old. Lagos G6 @ 2.30 and due to fall apart soon, but they always give me a few weeks of riding on a build before I buy the tires I actually want.
Seat: Fly tripod (will replace with a uni seat)
Cranks: boltless 8 spline Trebol @165mm
Bottom bracket: Primo with a length of broom handle as a bearing spacer.
Pedals: Fly Reuben graphites
Chain: a skinny standard style Cult branded bicycle chain that came off a 2012 Cult CC02 many years ago and was kicking around my parts box. I added a Cult halflink to make the chain almost right. That’s a totally different guage though so this chain will asplode in 5, 4, 3…
