A secret gravel route to the col de la Madeleine in the Savoie region of France. The road dates from just 1968. The col is names after the St Marie Madeleine chapel that was located on the col. The pass has been taken by the Tour de France (Hommes) 28 times since 1968 and once for the Tour de France Femmes in 2025 where it was climbed by the difficult south facing backroad
