Need help with a noisy wheel. It sounds like spoke noise, but all the spokes are tight and make similar pitches when plucked on both sides. I have an identical wheelset that is slightly newer and the spokes are slightly lower in tone (no noise on that one). I don’t think the spoke tension is the issue. It is noisy while riding whenever the front brake is used, otherwise it is quiet.
The spoke pattern looks correct, and is identical between wheelsets.
Ideas?
