Hi,
I recently bought this bike, and the previous owner said the chain was new. I’ve done around 1,000 km since then, but now the chain feels loose on the front chainring. It’s not skipping, but it doesn’t sit snugly on the teeth either. Chain: KMC rx-11s, chainring: SRAM x-sync 50t
Any ideas what might be wrong?

Your chain and/or chainring is worn. Have you measured the the chain wear with a quality chain wear tool?
A good quality photo of bare chainring teeth would probably help estimate their wear.
Have you tried adjusting the B tension on your rear derailleur?
Does it slip when you pedal?

I would think if two links lift it’s done. I wouldn’t say ot finished yet myself. But I rag the life out of most chains / cassette
Was that chain from temu by any chance? Get a good chain checking tool.
I would say you need a different chain that fits the front chainring and cassette.
