So the day started off ok going through broad haven and then the cycle paths that that go nearly to Pembroke harbour then over the Claddau bridge which is high, Pembroke castle was another sight and then through the lanes and villages to Tenby, the day ended badly with a puncher I couldn’t fix, and didn’t want to risk getting stranded far from a train station

so there the bike is ready uh stage two day two for me today of riding so starting here in Druid stone at the dreon home farm and then riding um about 54 km probably uh 500 M of elevation uh hopefully going to have a little stop in Broad Haven this morning um and then got ride uh over the the cow Bridge um which should be interesting and uh hopefully a look at pemr Castle and and then a little stop at t t as well hopefully which is love another lovely place I’ve been there before and then I’m camping just after 10B so hopefully it’ll be a good day the Sun’s shining and we’re meant to have some good weather there might be one rain shower today one or two rain showers but nothing took like we had yesterday so fingers crossed for a good day and let’s get Trucking so I’m off on my travels I did actually forget I I rode a little way up the road and I did actually forget to put some hot more water in one of my camping meals cuz I bought uh Camp even camping meal for lunch so uh I quickly shot back I think I only just got up to here literally the top of the road so I done that put some hot water and uh the lady come out and I was having a little chat with her and she was just wishing me a good day and I was saying thank you for all their Hospitality cuz uh they were very hospitable they let me put my bike in their garage and uh she even left me some nice Welsh cakes they were they went down a treat and that so it’s really good so yeah beautiful day off on my travels so first up broad Haven I think it’s pretty much downhill to Broad Haven as well so it should be good it’s a bit windy up here so I was uh I could hear some rubbing on my bike and it was annoying me so I thought I’d stop and try and fix it it was my mud guarded uh cuz it’s got some pins that lock the mud guard together on the uh where you know where it holds on to the uh the frame of the bike and uh the pins had come out of place and it was moving around uh it must have happened when I rid up the muddy Lane yesterday it was very muddy and bumpy I heard some ink I didn’t really notice it I didn’t stop it was just near the uh where I was staying so I’ll quickly fix that and hopefully it won’t be causing me no more problems it looks like it’s rubbing on the bottle cage so that might have knocked it out of place a bit where it’s rubbing on the bottle cage but no problems now it looks like it’s all sorted so see you in Broad Haven lovely views of the coast there down the hill to Broad Haven look at that broad Haven it’s a bit windy today [Applause] the old sea there is cooking up a storm so I just stopped in theis in uh broad Haven I’ve got a beer here son of a beach happy session parallel that should be a good one for later I just wanted to grab a maybe one beer for later so I can have a little beer when I get to wherever I’m going just in case you know what I mean so uh going to throw this away and I’m going to get going now rocks there looks amazing so I’ve had the first little bit of rain hopefully it’s passed quite quick close it’s eased off again straight away first little shower so hopefully we’re not having too much of that today and I can I’ll C my jacket on just for the sake of it but it stopped already so I might have to take it off again in a minute but uh just on this main road now so on this bit you have to cut in in land a bit to get to the clad hour Bridge someone is in uh good Easter Spirits there’s a bit of a memorial here to a couple of girls it looks like that must have died maybe in a car crash or something I don’t know but Hoy Easter happy Easter to you all I’m on this cycle path at the moment that goes alongside the road and it’s quite flat which is more than welcome well it’s raining again would you believe it bit of rain but hopefully not too long so Jack it back on again it’s starting to ease a little bit now already anyway I’ll see you in a bit so just uh come down on a cycle route where it’s like cycle Lanes only and there’s a little brids in the river and we’re off up this way here little bit of lightning and thunder but hopefully it’s not going to be all day so bloody train going pass yeah hopefully it’s not going to be all day but yeah I saw a little flash in the sky and then a clap of ther just on this cycle path now so it’s just on quite nice cycle paths this bit uh it’s quite yeah quite sort of uh R you know rural nice Countryside and quiet no traffic so it’s good good but stop raining now so I’m probably going to stop and maybe whip these waterproofs off again in a minute so on and off on and off but uh yeah I’m just waiting till I feel hot I think is my so this is called Westfield pill it’s now a nature reserve but it used to be like a tidal EST Once Upon a Time uh it used to be tidal but they’ve stopped that now and it’s now a wildlife Haven still on his cycle path and he’s l i mean I must say it’s been raining a bit but he’s lovely he flat and it’s just you know lovely Countryside scene you know the trees and the air and it’s lovely I think once that uh the rain stops and the Sun comes out a bit the old miggies will be up a bit more though so this is the Westfield pill they’re talking about and when I get a chance to see it’s on the other side of these bushes here it’s like a river morning it’s like a river through there which is what they were talking about oh there it is it opens out a bit more there so it’s a wildlife Haven hi so just stopping to uh take me waterproofs off again cuz the sun’s come out so I don’t want to be baking and look there’s a view there of the S3 Harbor sort of thing very good so let’s get going I want to get on see see Penbrook Castle next and the clad our Bridge got to go over the clad our bridge and then pemr car I think yep let’s go so I think this bridge is the clad hour Bridge it doesn’t it didn’t look quite as big is what I thought it was if you see what I’m saying so but apparently I think it might be the clad our Bridge not 100% sure there’s the harbor again Penbrook Harbor [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] so it’s quite a nice cycle path so I don’t think there’s any uh danger getting blown in front of the traffic so just cycling through Penbrook is quite hustle and bust so but I think this is like the Pembrook Main [Music] Street some terrific views over penri here pen Brook should I say so there’s a view of pemr Castle there I just uh cycled from over there around there I think I got to go that way bit of a different view of the castle there bit more sheltered and a bit more sunny so I’ve got to go this way so I found this nice little uh place here just to stop and have lunch right by PM Castle little picnic area so I’m just having some Asian noodles with chicken and mixed vegetables and I got a couple of Welsh cakes there left over from what the lady left me and the sun is shining so I’m just going to sit here and enjoy my lunch I’ve already had a bit of it already it’s quite tasty enjoy me lunch and uh yeah hopefully just enjoy the sunshine hopefully the sun’s going to come out this afternoon about now so it’s sunny now so it’ll be sunny for the rest of the day hopefully and I can just enjoy it L station and there’s a church here we’re in a little town called St Florence it’s quite nice so I don’t think it’s going to be too long before we’re in TBE I’m not I don’t think it is but got this way just riding for a big Holiday Park it’s massive massive H part this one it’s a massive H Park but it’s directing me to the beach so it looks like I’m going to have a little visit to the 10 me big to the beach that was a false alarm I didn’t go to the beach but I’m not far from tby now anyway so I think that’s uh tby you can see stuff over there so not long at all and I’ll be stopping at tby see if I can have a beer maybe while I’m here cuz he’s not far from the campsite so a tricky little beer might not be bad thing I there anyway I’ll see you in a bit you right so I made it to Tempi and the beach some quite steep a to go up there to get up here show lovely view of the beach think there’s a bit of Surfing going on so it’s just uh funny to see the old walls it’s got houses in there but it must be the old walls of the old castle and it goes quite far that way so found a nice Pub just to pull up and have a beer and uh got an Atlantic parallel so so that’s a nice one that I’ve had it before so yeah just sit down there and waste a bit of time have a beer and uh I might go and pop further down the sea front and see if there’s anything to see down there before I go right hello so I rid out of TBI uh just heading towards the campsite and then my my wheel went down so I thought oh what’s going on there I thought as someone let me wheel down or give me a puncture while I was in the pub cuz I left my bike outside anyway so I thought right I got a spare I got a couple of spare in Cube so I took the inner cube out and had a look at it and it was it burst anyway when I pumped it up I heard it explode sort of thing so sort of the inner Cube failed on me I think more or less but um so I whipped the inner cube out stuck a new inner cube in and uh I’ve pumped it up and it seems to be okay so I’m going to try not to put too much pressure in it this time so um I was putting the pressure up just cuz I got quite a lot of weight on there so hopefully it’s going to hold up you know what I mean so but I’m not far to the campsite so I got another spare inner Cube yet so I don’t think it was a puncher though I just think it was the inner Cube that failed on me so fingers crossed I’ll be okay I have got a bit of puncture protection in me Wheels anyway um I’ve got some Tannis armor protection in there just to stop punchers so but I don’t think I’ve got a punch off just think it was in a cube that failed so fingers crossed that’ be okay and I’ll get to the camp sight in a minute and uh chill out for a bit hi so um basically I got to a well parked campsite um and my tire have just gone down again so um I’m going to have to call it quits so uh I’m just camping there now I’ve uh set my tent up and I’m cooking up a chicken curry and I’m having my son of a beach beer which is at what this is ended up now being a son of a cuz I really wanted to do this I really wanted to do this um this Celtic Trail and I’ve only done two sections of it two two days of it so well at least I got to my campsite and it’s only a walk to the train station I got a ticket for the train back to the car tomorrow so that is a bit of a pain you know uh two nights on campsites I’ve paid for it I’m not going to do but anyway that’s that’s it’s not the um it’s not the worst bit of it really but so yeah I’m just going to cook my food up and have my beer and then I’m just going to chill out for the evening and uh go and get the train back tomorrow so it’s not the end to this that I wanted it to be but I think I’ve got something wrong with my tie basically that just keeps giving me punctures now so I’ve got one in the tube left then I don’t rate my chances of making it so I got to pull out while I’m near the train station anyway so anyway I’ve enjoyed this couple of days it’s um you know but it’s just just how it goes sometimes so back to the drawing board and I’ll come back again another time and do some more stuff I suppose but anyway I hope you enjoyed watching these videos I enjoyed
