So I am wanting to get a buxumbox for transport of my 2025 Aeroad CF SLX. This box requires 101 degrees rotation of the handlebars for it to fit. The Aeroad manual talks about an “Impact Protection Unit” that limits rotation of the head unit to +/- 80 degrees. I took a picture from the top of my bike with the handlebars rotated to the stops and it definitely looks like more than 80 degrees, so I’m not sure if I’m interpreting all of these values or terms correctly.

Has anyone used a buxumbox ventoux model transport box with their Aeroad? Does anyone know if the handlebars on the Aeroad will rotate the required 101 degrees or exactly how I should be measuring that?

I’m planning to reach out to support today and ask – but wanted to check with others who may have run into this situation.

Pic attached is max rotation of my handlebars.

  1. You tried it with a 2025 Aeroad? Only clarifying because I sent this pic to the buxumbox team and they said it would work ok, but that some models had a stop limit set to 60 degrees.
