GOODBYE SAAREMAA, HELLO RIGA: BIKES, PAIN IN MY ASS AND MIDSUMMER MADNESS | ESTONIA #2
This is the chaotic and glorious conclusion to my Saaremaa adventure.
It began with a €2 camper water-filling mission via a 50-cent public toilet, and ended with Latvian beer and midsummer dancing in Riga. What happened in between? Too much.
💧 Toilet-fueled hydration mission in Kuressaare
🐶 Royal castle dog walk
🌬️ Windstorm up Sõrve Lighthouse
🚴♂️ Spine-destroying bike ride to the sea-swallowed Kiipsaare Lighthouse
🧗♂️ Rope climbing at Panga Pank
🌧️ Dessert-fueled breakdown recovery
🚢 Rainy moment of silence at Triigi Ferry Port (Hiiumaa… not today)
🌿 Chill stop at Angla Windmill Park with lovely views
⛴️ Zero drama ferry jump to the mainland
🍻 Midsummer Night in Riga — live music, happy people, cold beer, perfect end
🛏️ Slept in Riga. Decided life was good. Went home.
👇 Watch the full story — one of my longest episodes, but packed with strange beauty, painful bike rides, and Latvian party energy.

Good morning people. Half past 10 and it was not that bad. Need to make a service and we will move forward. [Music] Yesterday we used the shower two times. So now there is a possibility to fill fresh water technology. Unfortunately, I need to walk several times and each time to pay 50 cent because there is a problem with the fresh water here in Samar. So in total it cost me about €2. Jo is done. full tank. So good people, our plans for today, we decided to skip excursion to that castle because there is nothing interesting inside. Now we’ll have a breakfast and later on we will go and explore the Leonard, the lower part of Sarama Island. We’ll visit some lighouses, maybe some spots by the sea. And in the evening I would like to go to the north and reach the ferry terminal and ask if it possible to transfer us to Huma Island. I don’t know yet. So let’s go because Samarai is quite huge island. It takes a lot of time to travel. Let’s go. Our first spot for today. The tallest lighthouse in Baltic Sea and one of the tallest in Estonia. 52 m in height. Possible to go inside. Fully renovated. Ticket cost um €7, I think. Let’s enjoy. You see here is Baltic Sea lighouses. Here is Paliski lighthouse on the mainland. Here’s Staling. And you see Baldiski. I visited Humea Sarma. And here’s a Baltic Sea. The blue one. Perfect. [Music] lift up. [Music] No. [Music] [Music] Stockholm is over there. 280 km. Kolka is over there. 36 km Latia. [Music] What do I do? So people, now we are here in the northwest or in the north of Sarama and uh here’s 12 km route. Here’s a lighthouse and you can rent the bicycles. €10 for 2 hours. We will rent them because we have not enough time. It take very long if we go by food. And somewhere here in the sea there is a lighthouse. So let’s enjoy doggies. Bye-bye. [Music] It’s good business. I told him. He says yes. More or less not that bad. But the bicycle is quite in good condition. mystery. [Music] Okay. You only push a car and it’s a bay. And here the right side Baltic Sea. And finally people, we’re here. Please welcome 3 to 1. Wow. It’s very impressive. It’s really worth your time. You can go by foot. You can rent a bike. by foot. It I think will take more than one hour one way, but it’s amazing. I will leave the location where we are now. It’s just amazing. So, thank you. Nice lighthouse for nice vibes. Need to go back. It took us 44 minutes to reach the lighthouse by bicycle. So yes, you need about 2 hours if you spend half an hour on the beach and if you go by food about 3 hours. Yes, quite long way to go. [Music] I have a pain in my ass. Any suspension, the seat made from wood. I think tomorrow I will die. But we’re already approaching. Huh? Tomorrow. Tomorrow. Okay. Rear doors open. Hello DD. Oena told me to sit here. Perfect. Thank you so much. So good people. We are back to Kurasara because one day is not enough to explore all Sarma Island. I thought we’ll move to the Huma tonight but we explored only the lower part of the island. So tomorrow we’ll go up and in the evening we need to move to mainland because in two days we need to go back home and I think Huma we will leave for the next time because it’s really nice vibe here and I think in Huma will be the same but stay tuned please don’t disconnect and let’s move forward to explore Sara tomorrow and today we are visiting different grill bar I already ordered borch and vegan kebab. Habibi [Music] local beer cerema po. Not that bad. Let’s taste borch. Very sore, but not that bad. Seven out of 10. Yeah. Seven points. I want to do this. [Music] Evening walk with my dogs. Leonard dinner was quite okay. I think five out of 10 it is not that bad. And I think it’s now time to go to sleep because tomorrow morning we have some plans to explore northern part of Sara Island. As I told earlier, Leonard. So people, thank you for watching. See you in a moment and have a good night. Bye-bye. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. The next day already 12:00 and we’re at the north of Sarma at Pangapank. Not so sunny today. A little bit windy, but it’s not that bad. And we have a lot of things to do. So, let’s move forward. But before we start our day experience, need to eat. Yeah, doggies. Nom nom nom. We are living in a true paradise. Ah. Uhoh. We’re looking for the rope here. 200 m. [Music] Ready rope. Bye-bye. Woo! [Music] Nice. Without rope, it’s impossible to climb up. So, it need to be there. It’s raining, man. Finally. But we made that So now we are going forward to take a coffee break. Guys from Lithuania. Perfect. Strong. Very strong. [Music] Now we arrived to Trii Harbor. Ferris from here goes to Huma Island, but there is nothing to do and it’s raining, you know. Here we have a gas station and that’s it. Where is Huma? I think over there and trip takes about 1 and 1/2 hours. Goes several times a day and it is very sad here. So need to go somewhere. [Music] When it’s raining, you have no good feelings and no good emotions. Now we arrived to Angla Windmill Park. But you see weather still wants to change our plans. It’s raining. I think maybe I will give camera to Oshina and she will explore. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Put the bed. [Applause] [Applause] weather. finally told us, “Get the out of there.” So, we’re already approaching Ferry Terminal and we are going to the mainland. The job is done. We decided to eat now and later on not to eat. We say it’s 9:00 p.m. right now and rain is just stopped and we decided to move to Ria because today is the St. John’s day or midsummer day and there will be several bonfires in the center of Ria. So I hope it’ll be really nice evening for all of us. Let’s go. We’re looking for party, but we cannot find any bonfire anywhere. But it must be a lot of big parties. It’s very popular here in Latia, but no people. I think maybe it’s not today, but it must be today. I have no idea. I think we’ll go to the center, drink some, drink five or six Long Islands and go to sleep. Finally, people after 1 hour, we found an event not in the center, about 3 km from the center, but the main problem was to find the parking. So our night will be on the not on the main street but with a huge traffic. No other options. Let’s go to have some party. [Music] [Applause] Yeah. Okay. Waw wawwa [Music] boom [Music] boom bey sauce. Oh, pretty big. [Music] [Music] Five salads. [Music] [Applause] Look at that. [Music] [Music] [Music] Hallelujah. Shall we [Music] shorth? [Music] Phenito, it’s time to go back home because now it is 1:00 a.m. and quantity of drunk people is increasing. And one more stupid thing in my opinion, when you’re buying a beer, you need to pay €2 extra for that plastic glass. Okay, no problem. But if you want to bring it back, you will get not the two euros but plastic coin and you cannot buy anything with that plastic coin because it’s like a government decision. You have all your plastic coin or a glass. That’s it. And you can come next time uh somewhere everywhere in in whole country and take a glass or give a coin and they will give you a glass. But I’m from different country. I don’t need a glass. I don’t need a coin. They cannot do anything. That’s life. happens. Now we have two Latan glasses.
