  1. Just tried to ask some simple questions on their website & became so frustrated in the replies in German that I'm going for a UK brand ( Interestingly though it asked me if my questions had been answered in English lol )

  2. I've just bought a Canyon grizl cf slx grx di2. 2 x 12 drive train. Probably outgoing model as it was £1200 off.
I use it to cope with the ever deteriorating roads and exploring bridleways. Increasing tyre clearance beyond 50 mm achieves nothing. I can't see how the new bike is any better

  3. If you buy a canyon every bike shop you need to help with you with maintenance will hate you. I have been a mechanic for 14 years now and they have ludicrous safety questioning and overly complicated designs. You will be charged more for your services and they will take dramatically longer avoid this company.

  4. I really wanted a Grail, but I can't justify a gravel bike with only 5mm more tyre clearence than my road bike. This, on the other hand, looks wicked.

  5. You forgot to mention the two most important things the steer tube is still 1 1/4 instead of 1/8 and the bottom bracket is still press fit how are you gonna make an adventure bike that has proprietary stem standards and not a thread fit bottom bracket huge mess

  6. Looks interesting. I still can't fully wrap my head around a bike that's ideal for neither road nor dirt, but that's a topic for another discussion.
