Hello and welcome to highlights of the ninth and final stage of the tour to France vamping from Provo takes the Mayojon of race leader into the final day leading Sarah Jagante by 2 minutes and 37 seconds. Daming third at 318. Cassia Nubia Doma at 340. Ninka Vinka in the white jersey is the best young rider. Elise Shab starting the day in the Queen of the Mountains and Loreno starting the day in green. A big day ahead for the riders. 2,820 m of elevation, the Kot Dash LRA, the sprint at Morilong, then the Cole Deju Plan, an absolute savage climb. The descent, the climb of the cold, the Corbyier, a cap one climb, and then a descent down and a run up to Chhatel Leort So for the finish. 1297 m at the summit. If anyone thought the final day would be a procession, they Loren Vivas had other ideas. Straight out of the blocks, she went on the attack and on the first descent of the day out of our start town. The mileun of Pauline Faron Provo was distanced from the Pelaton. She was having a chase to get back in with her Vizma Lisa Bike team. Under pressure from the start was the yellow jersey. Also off the back was Sarah Gagante of the AG Insurance Sudal team. She was being brought back in to this group by her teammate. She then made it up to the front to Pauline Feron Provo and they were chasing hard to get back in. They were back in just inside 100 km to go but it did take its toll on the team of Pauline Feron Provo. We started the climb the K Dash Lafras and Anna Vanderbrean going on the attack for what was the third time on the opener of the stage. She crested the summit ahead of Maya Skibbon of UAE ADQ outsprinted Damy following at the summit who was trying to defend for her teammate Elise Shabby who had started the day with 44 points. Squean’s points at the top mean she closed with 36 points, but she would have to keep herself up to the front of the race if she wanted to wrestle that jersey off the shoulders of Elise Shab. 2 minutes from Anna Vanderen to the group of the Mayo Jeon. Lorenna Vivas went through the green jersey sprint point to assure herself of that jersey. We headed on to the culde plan. Enormous crowds out for the tour to France fam going into the climb. Disaster struck for the dream cabal and the EF Education Oakley team. She went down along with Cassie and Nubia Doma. And while Nubia of Canyon Shramm Crypto was up and on her way quickly. Cabal taking a little bit longer to get back on her bike. And that would be the chase of the day for Sadrine Cabal. She was on the back foot already on the ZU plan. Anna Vanderen crested the summit. She had 44 seconds over the group of Pauline Feron Provo, Damy Volterin, Cassie, Nisha Black, Sarah Jagante, and Dominique of Wateric. Sarah Jagante the Aussie knew that she would be put under pressure on the descent of the Zu Plan and that’s what was happening. Cabal crested the summit. She was chasing 4 minutes down on Anavand Breen. Jagante though was on a lone chase and a tough day out for the Aussie. Starting the day second overall at 2 minutes and 37 seconds. Cassie Anubia Doma and Damy Volering doing everything that they could to try and elevate themselves onto the podium. 33.3 km to go. Contact was made with Anna Vanderan. It was Juliet Laboose who was the MVP today for FDJ Suez. Vanderbrean unfortunately wasn’t able to stay in contact with the yellow jersey group and drifted back. Jagante was at 2 minutes and 8 seconds as they went over the top of the cold of Corvier and took the descent. You had to really feel for the Aussie. She’s worked so hard on her descending in recent months and the pressure was on and she was really now just under three minutes down on the leaders. We came into Chhatel. Damy Vonering made her move just inside. 7 km to go as she was brought back. It was the yellow jersey of Pauline for Bravo who had been ice cool throughout the day. She had just been able to follow the moves, roll with the punches, and this was the moment where she looked to go clear for a second stage win. N Fisher Black was the closest rider who got to Pauline Feron Provo, but she was right on the limit and she was heading towards the Flam Rouge. And what a moment. The last time a French rider in the tour Feminan and the Tour to France fam wore that yellow jersey, it was Jenny Longo back in 1989. and Al Pauline with the signs and the roars throughout the day that it was one of the icons of women’s cycling and French cycling who crossed the line to take the stage win in one of the most iconic jerseys in the world of sport. Pauline Feron Provo took the final stage and with it the 2025 Tour to France fam a Swift behind Damy Volering would win the sprint for second place ahead of Cassia Nvia Doma. They would both elevate themselves in the general classification. Volering crossed the line while Nubia Doma was working hard to outsprint knee Fisher Black who also moved herself well up on general classification. Pauline Fon Provo can’t quite believe it. Emotional as you would expect. She said she was coming back to try and win the tour to France fan within 3 years. She’s done it in one. What a moment for the 15 times world champion, the Olympic mountain bike champion. Now adds the tour to France fan to that. Palari she takes the stage ahead of Damian Vering Cassie Doma Fisher Black Vodic Lab Gigantic Cabel Roy and Gontto your top 10 days two stage wins. Pauline from Provo is back with a bang. Loreno Ibas takes the points classification with 230 points ahead of Marianos with Damian Bonering third at with 147 points. Two stage wins and the green jersey. Quite a hall for Lennena Bibas. Elise Shab takes the Queen of the Mountains classification. 44 points to Damian Bolering’s 36 with Mahibus third with 36 points. She took it on the opening day. She battled. She defended it. The queen of the queen of the mountains does it again. The Mayojon, the yellow jersey for France, for Visma Lisa Bike, for Pauline Fermprovo. She takes victory ahead of Damy Volering, the 2023 winner. And the 2024 champ Cassie Doma in third. But what a moment for Pauline Veron Provo takes her home tour. The darling of the French, Viv Laaf France.

  1. Bravo and thank you, Pauline! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

For those who have been following Queen Pauline for a long time, when you see her gaunt and thin face, even compared to her dominant days in mountain biking, you can imagine the work, effort, and enormous sacrifices she made before her return to the road and this 2025 Tour, training, as she said, mainly in the high mountains! O_o But hey, you get nothing for nothing, especially at such a high world level, even if your name is Pauline Ferrand-PrΓ©vot!

She deserves to be able to let loose now and enjoy a good meal! ^^

  2. PF-P deserves this. She has worked the hardest in training by far. The question is: What the heck were DV and KN-P doing in training? Obviously not enough! PF-P knows what it takes to win: She has a no excuses inner core. Can't say the same for the other two. Congrats to the Greatest female Cyclist! We have waited 36yrs since JL!

  3. If you are not a good climber forget about being a champion. Bicycle race is just a question of being good in mountains, all other stages are just added for the gallery.
