Tour de Big Bear 2025
70 miles, 6000ft elevation, with 4600 ft of climbing between 14 climbs.
And I did it with an excruciatingly painful kidney stone.
Didn’t break any speed records, but I finished sub 6 hours like I wanted. Feeling super proud of myself as it was very much out of my comfort zone.

I also rode the 70! An hour down on last time I road it three years ago due to bad cramping in the legs on the big climb. Barely finished sub 6 but still a great day all around.
That’s awesome! Glad some folks in here were up there.
Oh dude the cramps on Onyx summit were crazy! Chugged some pickle juice at onyx one and descended down.
The worst part for me is the last like 4 miles of winding through hilly roads in Big bear city to the finish.
I’m gonna go for it again next year when I can actually not be in pain and have proper nutrition, was scared to eat and make my stone flare up worse.
