I recently bought a 2026 Canyon Ultimate CF 7. A few days ago, while taking the front wheel off and putting the bike in my truck to drive to work and ride after, I left the thru axle sitting on top of the bed rail and it obviously go lost when I drove away unaware.
In the app, I went to see replacement parts and it said my Front thru axle is “coming soon” and not in stock:
https://www.canyon.com/en-us/gear/components/tyresandtubes/thru-axles/dt-swiss-12x100x1.75-thru-axle-with-removable-lever/10011748.html DT Swiss 12x100x1.75 Thru Axle with Removable Lever | CANYON US
I sent them an email asking for support on Wednesday and have not heard back yet and don’t feel too confident in them helping me with providing dimensions for outside of Canyon product solutions at all.
However the total length of the axle is nowhere listed in the details of that product or anywhere in any manual or anywhere in the app. Since sending the email for support, Canyon has removed the replacement Front Thru axle listed from the compatible spare parts option for my bike entirely.
I ordered this one from canyon, as at least the few dimensions listed were the same but it doesn’t give overall length, which I don’t know anyway, or the thread pitch which should be M12x1.75:
https://www.canyon.com/en-us/gear/components/tyresandtubes/thru-axles/canyon-gp0197-02-thru-axle-100×12/10014453.html Canyon GP0197-02 Thru Axle 100×12 | CANYON US
Visiting a local bike shop to ask for recommendations and assistance, they said I should order one recommended from “The Robert Axle Project”.
This is the one I ordered from them which lists a true length of 118mm and absolutely the correct width of 12mm and correct thread pitch and the overall length is at least in the ballpark:
https://robertaxleproject.com/product/lightning-bolt-on-axle-front-12mmx118mmx1-75-thread/ Lightning Bolt-on Thru Axle – Front 12 mm x 118 mm x 1.75 Thread – The Robert Axle Project
As of now I know for a fact that the basic dimensions I need are 12×100 by 1.75 mm thread pitch but I don’t know for sure the total length besides the hub length of 100mm which is the total length minus the fork dropout width more or less depending on bike specific dimensions.
I am totally at a loss and at the will of Canyon to either provide a part or provide dimensions so that I can find my own from a third party. As of now the website says the part I allegedly need is “coming soon” fall or 2025.
I just dropped a ridiculous amount of money on this bike thinking I could always repair something that needed to be being that it’s a brand new bike. Canyon has been totally unhelpful so far and providing even one single basic answer to any question I have and just keep asking for my serial number and more pictures of the hike I’ve given many details on repeatedly.
Nightmare scenario but completely my own fault. Please reach out if anyone has any insight on figuring out dimensions and or where to order from or what to do. I’m not a super experienced cyclist to begin with and regretting going with canyon entirely to get into it.

OP: Update: Just figured out this is available in any other country besides the US. If anyone has this thru axle and is willing to either just measure the overall length for me that would be insanely helpful.
If any non US person would be willing to order it to their own place and then let me pay for everything and the shipping to me here in the US from you, I would be incredibly grateful and willing to pay extra.
