You have to see it to believe it. Drone footage shows an ebike being airlifted to the battlefield to evacuate a wounded Ukrainian soldier. In the video, you can see the electric bike attached to a heavy bomber drone by cables from the bicycle spokes. The ebike weighs around 42 kilos, which is why it’s being carefully moved midair. The mission was carried out by the Rabig Brigade of Ukrainian’s National Guard. In a video released by the battalion who carried out the drop, one of the soldiers says it was something out of the world of science fiction. After receiving the ebike, you can see the wounded soldier moving through an exposed area of fields towards friendly lines. Remarkably, he survives. It’s claimed the soldier was part of a unit that had found itself surrounded by Russian forces. He used his last grenade to kill the remaining enemy soldier, but was unable to reach the nearest safe area, holding his position for 5 days. Once the plan was devised to get him out, it reportedly took three attempts with the first drone being shot down and the second drone failing because it couldn’t handle the load. The battalion referred to the soldier as a real hero, wounded, unable to retreat, and did not surrender. What do you make of this mission to save a fellow soldier?

  1. You forgot to mention that he rode over a landmine, survived and had a forth bike delivered so he could rejoin his lines. That is a flaming HERO.

  2. So is the BFBS to be named the UFBS channel now?
Very nice for Ukraine, but meanwhile, our RFA ship Tidespring is confined to dock because it's falling apart and unsafe to move. Our overseas forces personnel are unable to get mail delivered due to lack of funding.
More foreign invaders have entered Britain through the channel than Russians have entered Ukraine.
