Hello all!
I am looking to buy a single speed for commuting/riding around town. I already have a 90's mountain bike, but want something faster and lighter on the road. So I thought I'd try ss since they are also cheaper than road bikes.

I have found this bike on facebook marketplace for 250 euros.
Seller says the frame is aluminum, but doesn't state any manufacturer. When asked they said it is "custom-made". (One thing that concerns me is that I don't see how you could tighten the chain since i can't see any horizontal drop outs)

It also has a flip flop hub and full carbon fork.

Do you think it's worth 250?

It’s possible they just size the chain just right, or he could be using an eccentric bottom bracket. That’s what I use on my single speed, a 3×8 conversion. White industries is a popular American brand that makes them. They’re not exactly cheap but I was able to find one on eBay for about 200 bucks. Turns any vertical dropout to a single speed. Search for eno hub
