Okay, this is a first ride on the AP2 boost. So, we are at a full charge and good news, I have actually managed to fully unlock the speed on this bike. However, it is a torque sensor. So, let me see what speed I can actually get up to. So, I am on Shimano gear 4, 250 W motor on this 55 Newton meters of torque. We’ll go to a hill as well. Do a quick test, see what it’s like. Full review will follow. So, any questions, of course, please just post them below and I will possibly put them in the full review. 20-in x 4 in fat tires as always. Okay, let me pedal as fast as possible. 24 25 26 Let’s put the mechanical gears up more. 223 Let’s put it up another one to six. Level five. Torque sensor is definitely dialed in really, really nicely. We’re going 40. We are now on the seventh gear. Suspension doing a fantastic job. Pedal a bit harder. 45 kilometers an hour. Wow. Very nice. This is Okay, there we go. 45 km an hour. And one thing that I have actually noticed about this compared to the very first EP2 Pro that I tested a long time ago is indeed there is no ghost pedal and all in this because of that torque sensor. So what does that mean? Well, that actually means that you will of course save a lot more battery. God, I’m out of breath. I haven’t pedal a bike that hard in a while. Normally, I ride electric scooters. So, that’s a good thing. Now, this does only come with mechanical disc brakes. So, let me just go up to speed here. Let’s say you need to come to an emergency stop. Let’s do both brakes at the same time. Shouldn’t be a problem. Whoa. Excellent. Excellent. very good 180 mm disc rotors on this bike is not lightweight. It does also have the 48vt 13 A battery going pedal assistance one. You get max range up to 120 km. Battery is also removable on this model. As always with most Enway bikes, height adjustable handlebars, height adjustable saddle on this rear rack. Also with this, let me talk about this boost button. I’m going to try this in a minute or two. I just need to get to a hill to show you what it can do because this is starting to come out on a lot of models and what it provides is actually more torque. Okay. So, what I’m going to do is here’s the force hill. It’s quite steep to be honest. Again, hard to see on camera. So, I’m on gear 2 mechanical. I’m already on an incline. So, I’m going to basically see if I can pedal this without using the boost mode, but the torque sensor should assist me. So, let’s go. Okay. A tiny bit difficult to get off the line. Let me pedal harder. Definitely using the muscles because if there’s no ghost pedaling on the bike. Okay. So, let’s see. It’s not a struggle. You’ll get up. But the idea of the boost button is to assist you. Let me go back down. Suspension is actually cannot button the suspension out. So, suspension is quite decent on this bike. Let me just turn around again. Boost button. Let’s go. Whoa. Look at this. Absolutely. I love this boost button. This is the second bike from Anway that I’ve tried that has this boost button. Look at that. It makes a 100% of a difference. And that is the type of small improvements that I love to see on ebikes. Let me go around. There’s a slightly steeper hill just around the bend. So, let me just see what that can do. Let’s do another brake test. Let’s have a look. Going down quite fast touch times now. Whoa. Yeah, brakes. No question at all about that. This bike of course has front lights, rear lights, does not have indicators. Okay, let me stick it onto here’s the second hill, a bit more steeper. So, let me see if I can pedal as normal. Maybe I’ll even Let me see if I can put on to Okay, we’re on gear one, Shimano gear. So, okay, a bit more difficult without using the boost button. So, let me press it as I’m at the steepest part now. Yeah, as soon as you press that boost button, the torque sensor kicks in even more and then it just glides you up the hill. I mean, excellent invention. Very happy with the performance of this bike so far. This bike also comes in different colors as well. This is the matte black finish. Very nice feel to it. Not glossy. Looks nice. Looks kind of the elite feeling and I must say very happy with it. Tires excellent suspension quite decent. The rear rack you do get with this bike. Height adjustable very comfortable saddle air allowing air to get in as well to keep you nice and cool. Grips bit hard to the touch but you can change them quite easily very very cheaply. Bell standard display here as well. Seven Shimano gears of course that boost button that I love. A full review will be coming soon. I’ll break down maybe a few things that I’ll find that I dislike about the bike. But overall, I’m very happy with it.
