bought the bike off fb market place for $130 aussie dollars, realised it had a coaster brake but I still bought it anyways so i could convert it. bought a rear wheel for $20 AUD and I finally put it together. i kind of like the difference between the tyres and rims, didnt plan for it but worked out in the end running a 50/18. gonna save up for bullhorn bars and wait for the bar tape to wear out to replace with something less vibrant.
sorry for the crap photos in advance.

If you really want to get ratty with it, flop n chop
Love seeing conversions, its always a great way to recycle old bikes. Only other thing i would add is when you eventually save up more funds for an upgrade, get shorter cranks. Road bikes come with longer cranks and lower bottom brackets which can lead to some pedal strikes if you arent careful!
Good luck and whip that fucking bike!
