I came back from a rainy ride yesterday and noticed the following spot on the seat stay of my carbon frame. I haven’t crashed or anything like that. Could this be caused by a rock strike, or could it possibly be a warranty issue?
How critical is this damage? When I tapped the area with a coin, the sound was a bit dull, although I’m not sure if that’s just due to the chipped paint.
