Hi everyone, first post here!
I recently bought this bike from an elder man who lives near me and i was interested to know what I'm really looking at. The man claims that this bike was one of the official racing bikes used by Giovanni Battaglin back when he won the "Giro d'Italia" so i guess from 1981 (maybe the bike was older) and he claims that don't remember when or from who bought the bike but he said that the original paintings was "taken out" due to racing livery or something but they kept some of the original paint in the fork (as you can see in the pic). Also in the upper tubing there are some letters that says "Super Record" ("Record" is clearly visible but "super" can be seen by the sticker left in the frame). Can someone help me get things straight? Also, i live near Vicenza so near Campagnolo and near Battaglin's birthplace. Thank you all!
