Ran across this while looking for an upgrade. Not sure the worth of a 15 year old frame but good condition with good components.

The bike may be worth that on paper but I would never pay $1k+ for a 15 year old bike. After having ridden bigger tires there’s no way I could go back to a bike that can only handle a 25mm measured tire, especially those early carbon bikes that mostly rode like crap
I’d be on that for $900. Sure they dont fit wide tires and arent as comfy as new bikes. Buuuuut theyre WAY more comfortable than what came 10 years before them and if you mostly do fast group rides of 2hrs or less, would it really matter?
That weight with those wheels? That thing rips. Flip the stem, cut the chimney, have a blast.

I paid $500 for mine but it only has a 10speed rival groupset and stock wheels. I added hed wheels to my Cervelo and they cost me $600 used. So I paid $1100 and don’t have as nice a groupset. I would absolutely buy this bike.
I can’t make out any details to pick out flaws, but it looks like a nice bike from the blurry pic. I would go down a little more on the price, but taking into consideration the complete build, I think it’s worth around $1000. Those R3 frames were good, external cables are easy to work on, Super Record is great, the HED wheels are OK, I like aluminum braking surfaces anyways. The finishing bits all match.
It’s a very outdated bike
From a value perspective it’s absolutely worth it. Just sold my super record 11 groupset for $1300
Corvette pic is very funny. Bike is too expensive, would probably buy for 1k.
I sold my 2014 R3 for $1600 with superteam carbon wheels and Ultegra Di2. The largest tires I could fit were pirelli p zero 26mm in the front and 28mm in the rear. It was super light, and the Di2 was the star of the show.
This model looks to be mechanical shifting and hybrid carbon wheels with an aluminum brake track? For that, I’d say sure for $800-900?

Yes. The groupset is selling for $800-$1200 on EBay. Wheels, you could get $250. Frame, around $600. $1800ish of bike for $1200 is a deal.
