Hello, how would you solve this? The hole is in the wrong place, i snapped the derailleur when fitting in the cable. I don't think i can resolve this with the seller of the frame, because it was bought from China (I'm idiot i know). Thanks

Did you buy (or receive) a frame intended for use only with electronic shifting?
Hi, that sucks. You might want to look at a different brand derailleur. I think my Shimano derailleur has the cable on a higher part. Not sure though.
Can’t really make anything out but is this a top pull mech on a bottom pull frame?
looks like a vesrion made for electronic shifting only and that is the normal postion for a shimano di2 FD wire. A hole there can not be use for mechanical shifting the angle of exit is too sharp for the cable housing or shift wire to exit and sit and pull the derailleur correctly.
I have to look at home because I’m (sloooowly) building a bike with a different Chinese frame and the hole position seems roughly fine to me.
The separate hole for the Di2 wire is much smaller in my case and located elsewhere AFAIR. I already connected an Ultegra r8000 FD (mech.).
Damn! The FD really snapped like that. How much pressure you put on that. Almost like the FD was defective. I would try another FD, there might be nothing wrong with the frame.
