Getting the nice bike ready for spring and I'm not comfortable riding these wrinkles.
I'm happy with the gp5000 TL however I did have slight issue with the loose sidewall strands.
What is the equivalent or better on the current market?
And do I go tan walls with the red bike?

I can’t speak to the tires, other than I have GP 5k TR’s and love them.
My advice is no tan walls on a red bike. Feels like it clashes to me, and not in a power-clash way like Jack Donaguhey can pull off
give me them. ill ride them till the threads show
What are you after in terms of “equal or better”? Rolling resistance (aka speed)? Comfort? Durability?
I used to ride GP5K TLR exclusively. Then I went to Vittoria Corsa Pro. Bicycle Rolling Resistance says it’s just a little slower than the GP5Ks (8.5W vs 9.3W) but the comfort level to me is superior, outweighing the negligible loss in speed. And yes I’m rocking the tan sidewalls.
The first product specialized ever made, with their name on it, was a tire. They’ve been doing tires for a long time. Turbos are great. High thread count, grippy rubber, easy to mount. Though, really, the best tires are Corsa Pros.
wrinkles??? those are good to go dude unless you really can’t see the wear indicators anywhere on the wheel tread
Schwalbe one plus
Pirelli p zeros are my go to.
GP 5000 ASTR
I’ve got experience with the Vittoria Corsa N.ext 2. Good grip, puncture resistance and life, even when doing a bit of light gravel now and then. Reasonably fast too. Had them for two years (one set per season).
Currently on Pirelli P zeros. A bit faster, though that could just be my feeling. No punctures yet and haven’t ridden in real rain yet or put the miles in.
Crazy talk for those tires. You have way more money than you ride.
