Syncros Duncan Dropper (oem from 2020 Scott Ransom 930) — Basically my dropper will remain activated with the lever not pushed, but will act as if it was pushed. This means the dropper goes down when I sit on it and comes back up as soon as I start to stand up. Took out the dropper as many of you were telling me to slacken the cable (which I did and still didn’t work) and I wanted to make sure it wasn’t stuck in the actuated position. As far as I can see, the little pin actuator is not pressed down, so I’m lost as to what’s causing it to not work. What can I do to fix this? I’m trying to sell the bike it’s installed on so I don’t want to have to spend extra money on something I won’t even use. 3rd pic is shit but it’s the actuator pin thingy being pressed down all the way.

  1. Sounds like there is a problem internal to the cartridge. I had a PNW with that exact same problem, and they sent me a replacement cartridge since they are typically a sealed unit and not serviceable.

It’s definitely air piston. A Scott dealer can get you a replacement
